GET YOUR GROOVE ON ~ “GUT” TAR – Rhythm & Music for Actors & Improvisers

Get in touch with your “inner instrument” through the use of Guitar, Congas, Music, Etc. Students will improve Confidence, Timing, Creativity, Listening and Collaboration Skills. In addition to improving acting and improv skills students will gain valuable musical knowledge; all while learning to play guitar, congas, and becoming familiar with music fundamentals. Learn the 3 aspects of music: Physical ~ Mental ~ Spiritual

Requirements: You must know how to count to 7 and You must know the alphabet up to “G”

6 Thursdays Beginning October 30th, 2008 - (4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.) or (7 p.m. – 9 p.m.)

Tuition: $250* (*Register by October 20th and save $75!)



KIDS & TEEN COMBO – AUDITION ~ IMPROVISATION (Ages 10 – 17)

2 weeks of audition technique and 4 weeks of improvisation. Audition portion of class will be taught by a casting director in order for our students to get a comprehensive look at what is required during an audition. Students will learn improv for performance and commercials throughout the 6 weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity for your children to work in front of one of our most successful casting directors in the business in a fun, relaxed environment.

6 Saturdays Beginning November 1st (11am – 1pm) Tuition $225 (*Register by October 20th and save $50!)



KIDDIE SHOWBIZ (Ages 4 - 9)

This class is designed to increase self confidence, improve listening skills and prepare students to audition for casting directors and/or interview with agents. Little ones will learn to audition and improvise in a safe and fun environment. November 1st (11am – 1pm) Tuition $185 (*Register by October 20th and save $25!)



BASIC IMPROVISATION FOR PERFORMANCE (*15+)

Fun and energetic class geared towards improv performance. Great for anyone who is interested in learning to think on their feet, strengthen communication skills, improve auditions, perform improv, and basically just let loose in a fun and safe environment! Perfect for all levels, beginner to advanced. A MUST for every actor.

*Ages 15 – 17 must have parental and instructor approval. Students MAY be exposed to mature themes and language. Saturdays (6 week rotation) ~ 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (some days until 4:30)

Tuition: $250* for *6 Classes (*Register by October 20th and save $50!) OR “Drop in” $45 per Class



ADULT MONOLOGUE (*16+ with parent / instructor approval)

(This class held at Central Phoenix Location - Biltmore Office Suites)

Students in this class will work primarily on at least one monologue with a focus on character analysis and development. Participants will learn tools that will be effective in learning future monologues for performance readiness. 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. 6 Wednesdays Beginning October 29th, 2008
